Arie Azene was born in Germany in 1934 , grew up in Tel Aviv, was member of Kibbutz Tsuba till 1978. Today he lives in Jerusalem. He studied with Aharon Avni, with Vitkin at “Betsalel”, and in Paris. In the 1950’s joined the “New Horizons” Group of artists, and from the 1970’s onwards painted in realistic style. Held and participated in many exhibitions , including in Tel Aviv, Haifa, Jerusalem, Berne, Paris, Germany, Los Angeles and New York. His works are in private collections and museums and galleries in Israel and all over the world.
