Born in Teheran Iran 1942. Studied painting in Teheran University 1959-1961, in London 1961-63, in Karlsruhe Germany 1963-69. Immigrated 1971. Paints in oils and watercolours, especially landscapes. Operated Gallery Gimmel in Jerusalem with husband Eli . Many works and exhibitions in Israel and abroad.
Signs her paintings with only her first name - ''Farida''/ ''Farideh''.
