Galina Datloof was born in a Russian village in 1949.
She left her native village and entered an Academy of Arts in the city.
During her student years at the Academy, Galina designed decorations for musical shows at the local theater, and since then she has continued to combine painting with work at the theater. The atmosphere of theatre and music can be felt in her work.
Her work is in museums and private collections throughout the world.
